Welcome to my website. Here you will learn about my work and research interests. They include peace, conflict, and social change and movements. 

My seminal research work, After Confrontation, Then What?, seeks to rearticulate nonviolence beyond the traditional idea of direct resistance to a meta-logic that includes direct, structural and cultural nonviolence, each having its own form of social action.

My professional work focuses on peace and conflict resolution using this meta-logic of nonviolence. In it I seek to foster the role of civil society in strengthening the social fabric through community building and development, which includes political, social, economic, and cultural strategies. That is, my work seeks to realize Dr. King's vision by building communities without boundaries.
